We Are Always Getting What We Ask For

The title of this blog may surprise you and you may be thinking that it is not true. What if it is and we simply do not see what we are asking for?

We are always getting what we ask for one way or another. When we have a goal and take actions and make decisions to support that goal it manifests.

Some Happen without a Second Thought

We have important and less important goals so we may or may not realize that a goal manifested. Often we just take this for granted. Some goals seem to manifest without a second thought. I suggest that we have a clear vision of that goal in our mind’s eye and we allow changes so that it can manifest. It does. It may even feel like a miracle. Depending on how you define a miracle, that could be true but most likely it is the result of our clear vision and willingness to change to have it. We are always getting what we ask for.

Hard to Change Something

Then there are the important goals that we can see clearly but are doing something or not doing something to allow it to manifest. For example, Sarah loves her career, is paid well but does not like where she is working. She wants to quit her job but felt that she could not quit as she was the sole breadwinner and she was paid very well. She stayed for the money. Sarah was consumed daily with her desire to get out of the job she was in. It was stressful and made her unhappy. Sarah got what she was asking forl. Think of it this way. Sarah wanted out of her job but she was unable to quit.. What would be the only way to get out? Correct. She was fired! Sarah called me to complain about being fired as she was an outstanding employee and the best in her position. It made no sense. With a great deal of amusement, I pointed out to Sarah that she created what she asked for – to get out of her job.

Knowing What to Ask For

Sarah asked for the wrong thing. Sarah had not asked for the next opportunity and the pay she wanted. I worked with Sarah to see that she was so focused on getting out of where she was that she did not focus on creating what she did want. The universe gave her what she asked for – to get out of her job. Sarah could have instead meditated on what she did want, the kind of company she wanted to work for, how she wanted to experience herself in a position, how much she would be paid and because she has a family, a position that would give her the time she wanted for her life. Meditating on this vision would have manifested that.

It’s Never Too Late

It is not too late. The universe is always giving what we ask for so I am working with Sarah to know what she does want. It starts with her not worrying and useing meditation to see in her mind’s eye what she wants in all aspects of her life so that her work also gives her the life she wants. It’s sounds simple but it is not easy. Sarah will need to get out of fear, invalidation and worry in order to see that she got herself fired and she can get herself hired.

The thoughts we hold create what we have and what is next. Knowing how we think is important to see how our thoughts are creating our reality. In meditation – a place of quiet – is the only way to become aware of the thoughts that we hold and the emotions we are holding that are in our way. When we can find a space of quiet, go within, clear our thoughts and release the energy we are holding onto, we can imagine and create something new.

In meditation, we can find a space of quiet, neutrality, and open to our clear seeing (clairvoyance) to imagine what we do want. This vision will manifest. It can be clear or partially clear. Whatever we can see is manifesting, so taking time to find clarity makes our dreams come true. It is important to not get stuck in HOW to make it happen. We don’t need to know how but it is worth clearing these thoughts if they get in the way of seeing clearly our hearts desire. The vision that we see in our mind’s eye is manifesting unless we hold thoughts that tell us it will not. The universe is always giving us what we say we want unless our thoughts or emotions cause us to decide that we cannot have it.

It is hard to stop thinking. To come out of our thoughts and see clearly in our mind’s eye the life we desire. It starts from finding a space of quiet, going within to see and know. Use meditation to find a place of quiet to create what you do want.

Intuitive Meditation

Embrace Discomfort to Have More

Challenging ourselves is essential for spiritual, physical and emotional wellness.  If we stay in our routine, we become unconscious and stop evolving in our hearts and in our lives.  We become complacent, apathetic and unhappy.

Being willing to change, to try something new and challenge ourselves has less to do with where you go or what you do but more to do with getting out of your routine, what is familiar and comfortable.  Where we are may be comfortable and familiar even if it does not give us what we desire.  Seeking comfort gets in our way.

When our energy drops or nothing is moving, the answer is not to seek more comfort but to seek discomfort. Is that counterintuitive or just very intuitive?  When your energy is low and you can’t see what’s next, stop thinking and take on a challenge.  It could be a big challenge or a simple one depending how much you want to change your energy.

When we keep doing what we do and how we do it, our energy gets stuck in one spin pattern that repeats.  To have more of our energy we have to get out of that spin pattern.  So how do we do that?

Try something new, do something different, and get out of your comfort zone.  This has enormous impact on our energy. The more we stay where we are, doing what we do every day, the more unconscious we become to who we are.

Notice how you spend your time. Look at your routine.  Are you doing things that do not challenge you but just occupy your time?  Are you doing things that make you unconscious (lost in television, social media, searching the internet, etc.)?  Do you avoid change?

Can you step out of what is familiar and do something different maybe something that makes you uncomfortable. Discomfort means our energy is changing.  It is called a growth period.

It can be hard to experience uncertainty, doing something for which you don’t already know the outcome.  What keeps us from challenging ourselves to change?  Old invalidation  Fear.  The need to control.   Discomfort. Uncertainty.  The need to make things predictable, efficient and manageable. If our experiences are always the same then our energy stay the same and nothing changes.

Are you open to something new, that will change your energy, and your experience of yourself and your life? Change how you think about life. Adopt an adventure mind-set, embrace a hero’s journey, look for inspiration, be curious or experience self-expression.

When we change our energy, we change how we experience our life. If you want to feel better, to feel good about yourself, have the energy to create something new, to raise your vibration to joy or happiness or enthusiasm, then change your routine, take risks, try new things, challenge yourself.  Get out of your comfort zone and see what happens. Stop seeking comfort and seek the energy that brings joy.

What is Your Worth?

What is going on when we feel unsure of our value and our worth? What is going on when we worry about our image and our self-image?

These are questions people commonly ask.  As an intuitive, when we feel this way, I see that we have lost connection with ourselves.  We are outwardly focused on people and places. and things. We cannot find ourselves out there.

We ask these questions when we have lost awareness of who we are at our core.  The word “core” primarily comes from Old French coeur (heart), which comes from Latin cor (heart), signifying the innermost part of something.

You could say you lost connection with your heart or your heart chakra, your center, your core.   When we are connecting with who we are at our core, we are also aware of our original essence and who we are as a spirit in a body.

How we experience our worth and our value comes from there.  Our image and self-image are a reflection of this essence.

To get back to the place where we know our value, our worth and own our self-image, begin by going withing and find yourself there.

Next steps: Make time daily for quiet meditation or simply to relax and quiet the body.

Close your eyes.

Feel connected to the earth.

Come out of your thoughts.  Stop thinking.  The answer to your question is not logical.

Bring your attention back to yourself.

Be more quiet. Go within.

Bring your attention to your heart, and know and listen to yourself there.

Ask your questions there, then quietly learn to listen.

When you come out of meditation, do not go back to your old way of being or thinking. Let your awareness be in a new place. Allow yourself to be more conscious and aware in the present time.
